With 6 CNC lathes including millturn and bar feeder we can cover work up to 350mm diameter.

With 2 CNC 5 axis machines capable of machining workpieces up to 600mm diameter we can cover most requirements.

Precision Measurement
WGD maintains a full, climate-controlled precision measurement and inspection laboratory fitted with Mitutoyo measuring equipment and run by a dedicated quality control engineer. All equipment is regularly calibrated in line with our ISO 9001 quality management programme.
Our newest addition is a fully programable and automated Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM). With a growing need for validation of complex dimensions and validation of geometric tolerances in precision manufactured components, we have invested in an Axiom Too 600 HS with a fully motorised probe head and stylus carousel. The Axiom too HS utilises 0.1µm resolution scales on each axis and incorporates state-of-the-art error mapping and fine temperature adjustment techniques for extreme accuracy when measuring tight tolerances.
